Abstract: The development of quality pedagogy for the e-learning environment is imperative for universities that are responsible for educating distance learners. However, adapting a face-to-face course for the e-learning environment can be challenging for many educators. To support teaching credential students, California State University, Chico has implemented an online learning format that provides quality education through both the modification of traditional learning forums as well as through innovative practices that provides access for students and rural communities to credentialing classes.
