Abstract: The presenters will discuss how a sixth grade teacher and her student teacher used Livescribe smartpens to enhance literature instruction. We will share examples of classroom activities using Livescribe smartpens from a unit studying the novel Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie. Students used the Livescribe smartpens to engage deeply in literary and character analysis.
