Abstract: A faculty peer mentoring program that was developed in the College of Technology and Computer Science (TECS) at a public university. The purpose of the program is to advance standards of excellence and improve the quality of learning outcomes in distance and blended courses. Although the mentoring process is well known and training for distance education has been going on for decades, this new peer mentoring program had key aspects that made it a “living” program.
