Abstract: In an east coast state, USA, the implementation of interactive whiteboards (IWBs) in the classroom in all levels of K-12 education has become prevalent over the last two decades. Despite this phenomenon, there is a lack of research to either support or challenge the effectiveness of IWBs. This paper compares data made available by the state online relative to standardized test scores in Mathematics and Reading (grades 2-10) to the use of IWBs.
