Abstract: Computer Security is a complex technical subject that impacts every online computer user. The intention of this roundtable session is to introduce the topic of Usable Security from a non-technical perspective. We will examine the characteristics that differentiate it from regular human-computer interaction design and summarize design approaches and teaching considerations. I encourage discussion and solicit opinions about incorporating usable security into e-learning systems and about how to most effectively teach everyday computer security through online methods.
