The Use of Web 2.0 Tools to Enhance Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students’ Interaction in Higher Education

Abstract: In this paper, the author provides a brief and general overview of deaf and hard of hearing students’ social interaction in higher education including the social challenges that they encounter. Then, the author describes the new way of communication that can enhance deaf and hard of hearing students’ social interaction. After that, the author explains the importance of using Web 2.0 technologies that can offer reliable communication and dynamic interaction. Finally, the author discusses some implications for further research and practice.
