Abstract: In 2007, we started a new class called Advanced use course of personal computer as an elective subject available to all students, and we adopted blended e-learning in the class. We initiated the incorporation of an outcome assessment function into an existing learning management system (LMS: WebClass). In designing the model for this purpose, we decided to include the student perspective as well as the traditional one-way evaluation by the instructors, in part as a means of raising awareness of the capabilities acquired by the students through these courses (the “outcomes”).
