Abstract: In this paper, the prototype for a term paper grading assistance map was designed to visualize scores graded for term papers assigned to a class at the university level or equivalent. The map is a new visualization technique to indicate the number of words, word use, and content similarities among texts. Through the prototype, this paper introduces the development of an assistance map using the singular value decomposition technique for grading term papers, and formative evaluation results for some technical viewpoints. Subsequently, the results for accurate calculation and processing limitation are provided.
