Secondary School Entrepreneurs Employ Electronic Tools in Building, Managing, and Growing their Business

Abstract: Three teenage, high school entrepreneurs from a residential, magnet, high school in the Northeastern United States bring to the table their experiences with electronic communications, brainstorming, accounting, and online ordering. The history of this experience covers three years of retail business contained within the residential life building that has a customer base of 120 students plus faculty and staff per year. Round-table discussions will relate anecdotal scenarios that illustrate the pros and cons of their experiences. The World Wide Web, Internet, LAN, E-Mail, Spreadsheets, Chat facilities, online and electronic entertainment are all contributing factors.
