Abstract: Enrollment in online courses continues to grow, and online education is critical to the long-term strategic planning of many higher education institutions. This growth in online coursework has necessitated developing web-based versions of courses that perhaps, at first glance, might not be viewed as ones transferred easily to the online setting. This brief paper describes our experiences with developing and implementing an online qualitative research course.
