Abstract: It is universally agreed that information literacy skills are essential in student learning Information literacy skills facilitate student self-directed learning and critical thinking skills. More importantly, information literacy is an enabling factor in one?s successful function in society. In recent years, there is a growing advocacy for information literacy in higher education process.
