Share Paper: Evaluation of an Online Training Course for Entry-Level Food Handlers

Abstract: This study evaluated a three-hour Web-based training course on food safety for entry-level food handlers. The course contains ten modules, and each module is followed by a short quiz that must be passed in order to move on to the next module. The entire course is followed by a final exam, which is the instrument used in this evaluation. Subjects (n = 653) were recruited and randomly assigned to experimental or control groups.
