Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to discuss and present the results from 3 researches on how to conduct and apply English instructional design model for online learning in “technology limit environment”. Lessons learned from the designing stages such as, what needed to be done to prepare the learners prior to entering online learning environment, how to facilitate their learning and how to assess them before and after learning processes, what retain their motivations, and what help them know their learning progress as they are encouraged and trained to become autonomous learners.
