Abstract: Macquarie Customised Accessibility Services (M-CAS) is a new international initiative of Macquarie University Sydney Australia, aimed at meeting the life-long educational requirements of students with access needs. M-CAS has a 3 pronged approach to facilitating full accessibility, namely, (1)meeting student’s immediate access needs to their chosen education experience in the manner that they feel most comfortable with;(2)providing training and support for students on how to use new technologies;and (3)a commitment to and involvement in research and development for new technologies aimed at facilitating access.Information about M-CAS can be accessed at http://www.cfl.mq.edu.au/mcas
