Abstract: Portfolio has been used as an alternative assessment tool. At NYIT, the teacher education program has launched a longitudinal electronic portfolio research project to exam the potential impact of designing electronic portfolio on pre-service teachers’ motivation to integrate technology in the learning environment as well as their technology literacy. This presentation will discuss the result of first year implementation, including data collection and analysis, difficulties we encountered, plan to improve the implementation, suggestions, and analysis of students’ e-portfolio.
