Share Paper: Continuous evaluation as a way of increasing and measuring performance!

Abstract: Financial support and public funds are not usually conditions precedent to successful implementation of e-learning platforms. The solution presented in this paper was accomplished through the commitment of students and lecturers at an Austrian university, the aim was to create ideal e-teaching and e-learning conditions. Within only 1.5 years 38% (winter semester 2004/2005) of all courses used the implemented platform, involving 100% of students. The basis is “blended learning”, which means an ideal cooperation of in-class and virtual teaching, targeting at including permanent active participation of students in the existing performance-measurement-system.
