Switching Sides of the Desk: Two Instructional Designers Discuss Their Teaching Experiences
Abstract: Two instructional designers at Penn State discuss their teaching experiences. As instructional designers we advised faculty about the types of strategies available. As instructors in the classroom we were able to experience first hand how these strategies could be implemented. Moving from the design phase to the implementation phase brought the process full circle and helped us to better understand some of the faculty challenges.
