Abstract: Educational games can make learning fun and engaging. A lot of research has been done on assessing their potential for learning, but less attention has been to whether the players could still recall the information they learn through the game at a later stage. This research will address this gap. By using as a case study Global Handwashing Day Game, the paper explores whether the players could still recall the information covered in the game at a later stage. The results have shown improvement in knowledge across all learning objectives covered in the paper. The players have also praised the modality of learning.
