Abstract: Blended learning (BL) combines the best features of face-to-face (f2f) learning with online learning components. Lessons can be designed using f2f classes, online lessons, and self-directed online components. Students are expected to have self-regulated learning (SRL) abilities to be active in their learning outside of the physical classroom. By searching in the field of BL and SRL, this literature review explores how BL can help to support students both in the f2f and online components.
