Abstract: No university instructor enjoys having to give a student a failing grade, especially when help is available. Students who seek help from instructors outside of class typically experience improved academic performance, yet many students do not participate in office hours. The pandemic forced universities to shift learning and communication modalities, including how office hours were delivered.
