Abstract: The digital divide has been a problem since Internet access began invading citizens’ daily lives. Despite increasing integration of the Internet in professional, private, and academic lives of users, there is still a large percentage without regular high-speed access to the Internet. Those without regular access do not have proper digital literacy skills to help them sift through the multitudes of information resources available to them. Through this paper, the digital divide is discussed and solutions explored to help reduce the digital divide.
