Abstract: The Innovation Attitude Survey (IAS) was administered to middle school participants who were part of a state-wide, STEM related program in the Western US during 2021. The IAS contains three factors related to a) being an inventor; b) motivation and pride in innovation; and c) leadership. The participants reported especially strong agreement on the factor related to motivation/pride.
