Abstract: A virtual escape room activity was implemented as the final exam for a face-to-face low brass pedagogy course in the fall of 2021. Sixteen music education majors in the course, all undergraduate juniors and seniors, were clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, trumpet (2), guitar, euphonium (2), tuba, and percussion (7). Three students were existing low brass majors performing on the euphonium and tuba, however they were not allowed to study those instruments during the course.
