Putting your educational institution in the best possible position for the future

F2F Poster Demonstration ID: 59748

Abstract: As we emerge from the pandemic, we need digital leaders who ask questions at every level of an organisation.  Jisc gives people the confidence they need to make positive changes in their educational organisations. In this workshop, participants will engage with a range of activities that help staff adapt and respond to the digital challenges and opportunities their organisations may face. The session will cover two key activities: The first, entitled "Vision for Change," brings senior managers and leadership together to work on innovative approaches to strategic planning. The activity helps leaders gain clarity and focus collectively on where they are now as an organisation and where they want to be going forward. The second, entitled "Planning for Action", takes the strategic objectives from the vision for change workshop, and starts to unpack the considerations, prioritising them and forming an owned action plan.  By the end of the workshop, participants will have started to enable their organisation to adjust more effectively to technological change. They will have discovered the tools and approaches that can empower educators and administrators to experiment with new, more flexible teaching and learning methods. Participants will have gained experience with a variety of approaches that can help organisations adapt and respond to digital challenges and opportunities during the workshop.

Objectives

* Help your organisation respond more effectively to technology-driven change. * Discover the tools and approaches that can give staff the confidence to develop different, more flexible ways of delivering teaching and learning.  * During the workshop, participants will get hands-on and participate in a range of approaches that help organisations adapt and respond to digital challenges and opportunities.
