Abstract: With the rapid development of technology, many current students are digital natives and eager to use the latest technology. Digital games and virtual reality are regarded as innovative approaches to enhance student learning today. However, the exploration of the relevant technology use for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is still limited. Therefore, this study provides a brief review of research that applies digital games and virtual reality to social learning of individuals with ASD from the years of 2016 to 2021. These factors of included studies are examined: sample population, design, methodology, and outcomes. The limitations of included studies are also discussed.
