Abstract: given ict products bring a lot of convenience to our lives and the popularity of 3c products has become an irresistible trend in this era parents love and fear harm when using 3c products for their children on the one hand they worry that children's ict use will generate negative effects including physiological and psychological damage low esteem addiction social isolation and violence lack of sleep etc on the other hand many parents believe that ict products have the function of education entertainment and learning various language and puzzle application games are both vivid and interesting and simple to operate children can learn through repeated exercises and provide the function of training children's hand eye coordination moreover children can interact with people and learn basic communication skills and to keep up with today's rapidly changing times through technology that can promote learning and gain immediate knowledge therefore parents attitudes have a great impact on the frequency methods and content of children's use this study used questionnaires to understand parents complex thinking about the impacts of ict on young children and to understand parents attitudes toward and the actual situation of their young children's ict use based on the above the purposes of this study are as follows to examine the current status of young children's ict use including their use of different product types the age at which they begin to use ict the frequency
