Accessibility amid a pandemic – A faculty perspective

Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic hit educators hard. With little time to prepare and transition to a remote learning environment, educators had to implement new practices, strategies, and ideas to engage with their students. In this poster, we discuss several key practices that a faculty member tested in his own classroom over the 2020-2021 academic year. In this poster presentation, we offer suggestions for how to ensure a course is accessible for students in the online/remote learning environment
