Abstract: Research on Open Distance Learning (ODL) identify student success as a major cause for concern as well as the need for research that focusses on entire learning programs. In this article, we applied learning analytics to study four cohorts of students in an undergraduate program in order to identify factors that hinder students’ progression and analyse how the different elements of a curriculum could be reconfigured to increase efficiencies and impact.
