Abstract: Traditional in-person Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) programs were challenged to transition face-to-face courses online during the Spring 2020 semester with minimal adaptation. This case study highlights the experience of one research-intensive, public school of pharmacy and its efforts to combat ‘Zoom-fatigue’ and implement a student-centered approach to academic program adaptation for the 2020-2021 academic year. The use of limited regularly scheduled synchronous class meetings helped students and faculty plan around scheduled sessions and reduced the amount of required screen time per day.
