Comparing Video Lectures with Live Streaming Lectures in Online Physics Class

Abstract: Live streaming lectures and video lectures are two of the most popular online teaching methods. In this research an author investigated which is the more attractive method for students. Thus, the author provided the live streaming lectures and video lectures with the students. Then, the students could choose one of these two methods. Both lectures were used same PowerPoint slides. The experiment class was constituted eight sessions in total. As a result, two students of the 156 students chose the live streaming lectures in the final session. So the video lectures were more attractive than the live streaming lectures for the students.
