Abstract: Given the current urgent need for online teaching due to the coronavirus pandemic, preparing faculty to teach online has never been more important. What is an approach that is practical and effective? Literature offers no answer. How about allowing faculty to learn online for the purpose of teaching online? The presenter will first share the design and results of a hybrid faculty training course for teaching online. This course was developed in a U.S. major research-oriented university for faculty to learn how to teach online.
