Introduction of Flipped Learning into English Teaching in Tutorial Education: Exploratory Research
Abstract: Flipped learning is an important topic in the age of Information 2.0 era. The implementation of flipped learning strategy is mostly in school classroom and rarely explored the application and development of flipped learning strategy in tutorial education. In the era of digital learning, many English tutoring institutions are emerging in an endless stream and many of them have introduced scientific and technological means to assist English teaching, but there is little discussion on the learners' learning effectiveness. This study is an exploratory research in order to develop following study on flipped learning by the means of depth interview. The conclusion is that the flipped learning mode combined with other strategies may have influence on learning motivation and English vocabulary retention, those hypotheses need to be improved with further experimentations.
