Abstract: Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) have been proven to be effective in higher education and the workplace. Based on 21st century needs, MOOCs can address training and development in the workplace, particularly, and they could be one of the solutions for employee training and overcoming barriers to professional improvement. This paper aims to present the common challenges facing the use of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) in the workplace.
