Share Paper: Generating Design Principles that Support the Integration of Open Educational Resources (OER) in a College Course: A Design-Based Research Approach

Abstract: This study aims to generate the design principles that support the integration of open educational resources (OER) in a college course that would manifest in open educational practices (OEP). This informed exploration is part of a larger-design-based research (DBR) study that sought to design an OER intervention in an authentic context. A focused literature review was conducted and a semi-structured interview was employed with OER leaders and experts (N=4) in different higher education institutions.
