Abstract: Among the aims of education is the integration of ICT in the teaching process at all levels. In Greece the Ministry of Education has initiated since 2007 the “Digital School” project Part I (2007 -2013) and Part II (2014-2020) (http://dschool.edu.gr). One of the results of the project was to design and develop learning objects (LOs) which were then uploaded on an educational free open access platform with the name “Photodentro”, which is the Greek National Learning Object Repository for digital content. LOs are units of learning, used and re-used in the teaching process. The tool selected for use in the part II of the Digital School project is Articulate Storyline 3 (https://articulate.com/p/storyline-3). Articulate is a commercial authoring tool with high interactivity. The team responsible for the subject of Religion designed, developed and exported about 600 learning objects to Hypertext Markup Language revision 5 (HTML5) output. The LOs which were produced are attractive, run faster and in every browser even on tablets and smartphones. The LOs are interactive photo galleries, activities such as quiz, crosswords, puzzles, presentations, maps and provide high interactivity, which involve students in elaboration, analysis, synthesis, comparison, contradiction, argumentation on the free open access educational platform.
