Abstract: A digitalized board game prototype is presented to help children learn about wildlife ecology. Knowing the ecology of wild animals is important in learning the relationships between living things and the natural environment, and the zoo is an important place for this topic of study outside of school. However, it is difficult to increase learners' interest in passive learning activities such as the viewing of zoo exhibits. Therefore, we propose the competitive board game as a way to boost interest. By simulating the behavior of animals, we hope to increase interest in animals and increase the motivation to learn. We developed a prototype of this system and conducted an experiment to evaluate its usefulness. This paper describes the prototype and the experiments performed.
