Abstract: In order to investigate the current state of new media literacy among college students and analyze its relationship with the use and creation of new media, we first discuss and analyze the definition of new media literacy in the literature, and then design a Chinese version of the new media literacy online questionnaire. We adopted a convenience sampling. In fact, we invited college students to participate on the Internet by snowballing methods. 138 university students were surveyed, and it can be found that the functional consuming literacy is the highest, the critical consuming and functional prosuming literacy are medium, and the critical prosuming is the lowest literacy.
