Abstract: Personal information management (PIM) is a growing necessity for higher education students. However, when facing PIM practices, students encounter dilemmas, which may lead to low PIM performances. This exploratory study examines PIM dilemmas among higher education students. Participants included 32 higher education students whose narratives regarding PIM conflicts and dilemmas were analyzed. Findings indicate four categories of PIM dilemmas, which suggest that students are contemplating regarding optimal PIM behavior.
