Abstract: Improving the quality of E-learning is essential to the acceptance of online learning for continued professional development (CPD). While E-learning is often perceived as one-directional and isolated it can open up unexpected possibilities for (inter)active learning. This potential provides a basis for collaborative learning in CPD. Time invested, content, active learning and enhanced competences reflect the effectiveness of CPD programs.
