Abstract: Knowledge construction is a process that involves both knowledge and human interaction. Three approaches to collaborative knowledge construction under the connectivist perspective are knowledge network, social network, and social knowledge network. This study conducted a quasi-experiment examining knowledge construction under KN-, SN-, and SKN-embedded learning environment. Participants were 55 in-service teachers enrolled in professional development program on innovative pedagogy. The study results indicated that learners in SN environment engaged in more social interaction than the other two groups. Learners within SKN environment had higher level of knowledge construction.
