Abstract: This article presents the results of a field study on mobile ICT learning processes of repairers and vendors operating in the informal economy sector in Haiti. The main objective of this research was to study the emerging process of learning in an informal environment using mobile technologies employed alternately as a tool to learn and communicate and to build a professional identity.
