Exploring the Critical Factors Affecting College Students’ Intelligent Learning
Abstract: The study explores the critical factors affecting college students’ intelligent learning (iLearning) on campus. Based on an extensive relevant literature review, four main dimensions (including 26 criteria), Performance Expectancy (PE), Lecturers’ Influence (LI), Quality of Services (QS), and Personal Innovativeness (PI), are first synthesized. Two stages of questionnaire surveys are then conducted. In the first stage, college students are the research objects through convenience sampling. Five key factors including 18 criteria are extracted by factor analysis (FA). In the second stage, expert questionnaire survey of analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is adopted to prioritize the criteria by calculations of their relative weights. With experts’ consensus, the top five critical criteria impacting college students’ iLearning are Enhancing learning performance, Increasing learning participation, Altering learning habits, Access anytime, and Quick usage of learning resources. Finally, some important suggestions are provided to related educational institutions for promoting and improving college students’ iLearning more effectively and efficiently.
