Abstract: The goal of this study is to clarify the relationship between learner’s pupillary changes and interests in a high speed educational video. 36 students participated the experiment and they were divided into the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group watched an educational video at 2.0x playback speed twice in a row (an iterated educational video) while we recorded their pupillary changes with an eye-tracker. They were asked to complete the questionnaire asking their mental states when viewing the video.
