Abstract: All too often, the requirement for a meta-analysis or systematic review stand between you and the next major step in your career, whether it be starting your dissertation, publishing those first few articles or getting grant funding for further research. Sometimes one serves the purpose better, sometimes the other, but how can you tell which is appropriate? This session offers practical procedures for analyzing topics using criteria from Oxford University for meta-analyses and The American Psychological Association for systematic reviews.
