A Study of Innovate Learning on Mathematics Ability of University Students Engaged in the Career Jobs

Abstract: This research was undertaken to develop a computer simulation activity that the university students of science and technology engaged in “Mathematics Exist Everywhere in Workplace” of the Career Jobs of University Students through Learning Management System (LMS). The contents presented in this paper were partial results of three years projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of Taiwan under Grant No. MOST 103-2511-S-275-001, MOST 104-2511-S-275-001, MOST 105-2511-S-275-002 (Director: Prof. Hsiu-Lan Ma; Co- director: Prof. Der-Bang Wu). The activities of this virtual community, not only limited to career planning to promote their early recognition of career orientation, to understand the nature of the work and the workplace need to have the ability to prevent students after graduation became home squatting. More importantly, by the practice of case study, the discovery of mathematical knowledge, so that in the implementation of the practice of the process, the development of cognitive areas, "know", "application" and "reasoning" three levels of ability. This link will enable them to understand the existence and value of "mathematics" in their future workplace.
