Abstract: With an increasingly disparate student body, getting everyone together at the same place is becoming more difficult. The challenge is further compounded by online courses, weather events, family emergencies, car trouble, etc. The virtual classroom offers an appealing alternative to the face-to-face classroom. With the right skills, you can make your virtual classroom as engaging and interactive as a traditional classroom. In this session, you will learn how to apply the fundamental concepts of experiential learning in a synchronous online environment. The session will focus on tools that are available on most virtual training platforms and how they can be applied to involve students from a distance.
