Abstract: This paper discusses factors influencing both teachers and learners’ poor use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) like computers in teaching and learning of mathematics in three selected schools in Mthatha Education District. A case study design was used. The sample comprised of three teachers and five learners selected from three schools in Mthatha District. One-to-one face-to-face interviews was used for data collection. Content analysis was used to analyse the data.
