Abstract: Abstract: This paper reports on the findings of a quantitative study of educational mobile apps listed on with regards to the 21st century skills of creativity, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration (4Cs). Apps were analyzed by skill category, grade level, subject, instructional purpose, and learning ratings. Findings suggest most educational mobile apps can be used to support one of the 4Cs, with more than half of apps being designated as good possibilities for developing critical thinking alone.
