Abstract: This study investigates how in-service teachers look at YouTube as a new emerging technology in the pool of social media tools. At this generation of the world video sharing websites are getting more popular every day, so it is important to investigate what in-service teachers think about these tools, because in-service teachers and their students may already be using it in their personal lives, but not in classrooms. This study will be conducted in West Texas area and results will be analyzed using quantitative methods. Researchers are interested in in-service teachers’ beliefs and perceptions about YouTube.
