Abstract: The present study is putting under scrutiny the undeniable challenge that a 21st century instructor encounters with regards to teaching classical literature in a digital era and to a considerably digital generation, incessantly preoccupied with technological devices and spending the majority of their time on it. The study postulates that the constructivist self-directed learning approach should be adopted as being the most pertinent nowadays. Moreover, it endeavors to disseminate some instances of technology mediated learning activities, geared towards enhancing students' engagement in literature sessions. Our students are relentlessly eager to create innovative layouts for classical core material deploying diversity of mobile applications and Internet websites. Eventually, the instructor can cross the boundaries via employing technology as a medium of learning instead of deeming it as a barrier hurdling the fulfillment of intended learning outcomes.
